HSoP Wine Raffle
The 2024 Wine Raffle has closed, and raised over $1,600 for us! Thank you to those who supported us through this fun event, and keep an eye out next October for our annual Wine Raffle
If you love a good bottle of wine, and you love your local humane society, then this raffle fundraiser is for you! There are seven separate prizes up for grabs, featuring a variety of wines from Dutton-Goldfield, Lindsay Creek Vineyards, Rivaura Estate Vineyards, Vine Moscow, and some Colter's Creek wines, generously donated by an HSoP board member.
Raffle entries go on sale beginning Monday, October 14th, and sales will end at 3:00pm on Friday, October 24th. Winners will be drawn at 4:00pm on Friday, October 24th and will be contacted by phone. If you'd like to participate in this raffle, tickets can be purchased at the shelter or on our website by clicking "Register Now" at the bottom of this page.
By entering the raffle, you certify that you are 21 years of age or older. Winners must be 21 or older, and a valid ID matching the winner's name must be presented in order to claim any of the prizes. Winners will be limited to one prize each.
Tickets cost $5 each or 3 for $10 when using code "3FOR10", and you can purchase as many as you would like. All proceeds from this raffle will directly benefit HSoP and the hundreds of pets we serve each year.

DUTTON-GOLDFIELD GRAND PRIZE - This prize features a magnum of 2018 Redwood Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast, generously donated by Dutton-Goldfield Winery in Russian River Valley, California. Described as rich but not at all heavy, this quality red wine has woodsy and brambly berry aromas. It's brimming with flavors of cherry, blackberry and raspberry, with layers of dried thyme and rhubarb to add interest. An extended finish echoes the bold yet elegant blackberry and forest floor essence of the wine. Pairs well with fresh herbs, mushrooms dishes, roasted chicken, and havarti cheese. The magnum is accompanied by two Bohemia Crystal stemmed red wine glasses, and a handmade resin bottle stopper. This prize will also include a VIP wine tasting experience for two at Dutton-Goldfield Winery in Sebastopol, California - Feel free to gift this to a friend, enjoy it yourself, or gift it back to HSoP for a future fundraiser. The certificate is valid until October 15th, 2025.
HONORARY COLTER'S CREEK PRIZE - Intended to pay tribute to the amazing winery that brought the people of Moscow and Latah County so much joy. This prize features a bottle of 2015 Lewis-Clark Valley Rocinante red blend and a bottle of 2023 Lewis-Clark Valley Negroamaro rosé, both made by the long-beloved and recently closed Colter's Creek Winery. These bottles were generously donated by an HSoP board member. The wines are accompanied by a set of four stemless glasses printed with an adorable owl, generously donated by Intrigue in downtown Moscow. This prize will also include a Colter's Creek branded bottle opener and a handmade resin bottle stopper.
VINE MOSCOW SAMPLER PRIZE - Intended to offer a variety of flavors for anyone to enjoy, this prize includes a red, white, and dessert wine. This prize features a bottle of 2015 Willamette Valley Ultima dessert wine by Elk Cove Vineyards, a bottle of 2022 Columbia Valley Mélange Blanc by Patterson Cellars, and a bottle of 2020 Leviathan Red Wine from California. All three of these wines were generously donated by Vine Wine Bar & Cellar in Moscow. The bottles are accompanied by two stemless wine glasses engraved with the HSoP logo, and a handmade resin bottle stopper.
VINE MOSCOW VARIETAL PRIZE - Intended to offer a more focused and elevated wine experience, this prize has two elegant red wines. This prize features a bottle of 2021 Napa Valley Petite Sirah by Girard Winery, and a bottle of 2020 Cahors (South of France) Malbec by Gérard Bertrand, both generously donated by Vine Wine Bar & Cellar in Moscow. The bottles are accompanied by two stemless wine glasses engraved with the HSoP logo, and a handmade resin bottle stopper.
VINE MOSCOW WASHINGTON REDS PRIZE - Intended to highlight some delicious reds, this prize includes two wines both grown in Washington State. This prize features a bottle of 2019 Columbia Valley Los Molinos Red Wine by Andrew Januik Winery, and a bottle of 2021 Washington State Cabernet Franc by Pend d'Oreille Winery, both generously donated by Vine Wine Bar & Cellar in Moscow. The bottles are accompanied by two stemless wine glasses engraved with the HSoP logo, and a handmade resin bottle stopper. This prize also includes a Vine Moscow branded sweatshirt in size Medium.
LINDSAY CREEK PRIZE - This prize features a bottle of Valley Red Wine and a bottle of Irresponsibility Red Wine, both grown in the Columbia Valley and generously donated by Lindsay Creek Vineyards in Lewiston. The bottles are accompanied by two stemless wine glasses engraved with the HSoP logo, and a handmade resin bottle stopper.
RIVAURA ESTATE PRIZE - This prize features two bottles of 2020 Lewis-Clark Valley River Ranch Red, generously donated by Rivaura Estate Vineyard and Winery in Juliaetta. The bottles are accompanied by two stemless glasses engraved with the HSoP logo, and a handmade resin bottle stopper.
