About the event

If you love a good bottle of wine, and you love your local humane society, then this raffle fundraiser is for you! There are four separate prizes up for grabs. Each prize will feature wines from Dutton-Goldfield or Colter's Creek. We'll be collecting raffle entries for the next two weeks and will draw the winners' names on Monday, October 24th. Tickets can be purchased at HSoP or purchased online via our website. By entering the raffle, you certify that you are 21 years of age or older. Winners must be 21 or older, and a valid ID matching the winner's name must be presented in order to claim any of the prizes. Tickets cost $2 each or 3 for $5, and you can purchase as many tickets as you would like. All proceeds from this raffle will benefit HSoP.

Winners will be drawn at 5:00pm on Monday, October 24th. We will attempt to make contact with each winner until Friday, October 28th. If we are still unable to make contact through phone or email by this time, we will draw an alternate winner to claim the prize.

Read below for details about each prize:

GRAND PRIZE - This basket features a magnum of 2016 Docker Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir, generously donated by Dutton-Goldfield Winery in Russian River Valley, California. It has aromas of blackberry, black cherry, violet, black tea, and thyme, with notes of bramble berry, dried cherry, blackberry, and toasted marshmallow, before finishing with flavors of berry and toffee. It pairs nicely alongside grilled meats and hearty fish. The magnum is accompanied by two Spiegelau Bordeaux/Cabernet glasses, a set of adorable paw print wine glass charms, a corkscrew bottle opener, and a stopper.

1ST PLACE - For our 1st Place basket, local favorite Colter’s Creek has opened their wine library. This basket features a rare magnum of 2011 Colter’s Creek Syrah, sourced from the Snake River Valley. Harvested in 2011, this wine has been perfectly stored in the Colter’s Creek cellars and is ready now. It is a ”rich, full-bodied wine with hints of black pepper and dark fruits. Enjoy!” The magnum is accompanied by two Spiegelau Bordeaux/Cabernet glasses, a set of dog-themed wine glass charms, a corkscrew bottle opener, and a stopper.

2ND PLACE - This basket includes a bottle of 2019 Rued Vineyard Chardonnay and a bottle of 2013 Freestone Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir, both by Dutton-Goldfield. The bottles are accompanied by two Spiegelau White Wine/Chardonnay glasses, a set of silicone cat-themed wine glass markers, a corkscrew bottle opener, and two stoppers.

3RD PLACE - This basket includes a bottle of 2015 Lewis-Clark Valley Rocinante and a bottle of 2017 Lewis-Clark Valley Riesling, both by Colter's Creek. The bottles are accompanied by two Spiegelau White Wine/Chardonnay glasses, a set of silicone cat-themed wine glass markers, a corkscrew bottle opener, and two stoppers.
