featuring The Working Poor
The Humane Society of the Palouse is proud to announce it is hosting a Benefit Concert featuring The Working Poor. The concert will be from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, March 4th at Schierman's Clubhouse and Event Center. The event is open to all ages. Tickets are $15 with student ID, and $20 for non-students. Schierman's Clubhouse and Event Center is located at 3225 Robinson Park Rd in Moscow.
The Working Poor is an Alternative/Americana/Folk band based in the Quad Cities area of Washington and Idaho, and were featured in the HSOP’s benefit concert last year. Each member is either from Moscow, Pullman, Lewiston or Uniontown. They are a cover band for the most part, with some original music scattered throughout.
Patty’s Mexican Kitchen and Catering will provide food and drinks, including soft drinks, beer and wine, available for purchase. Patty’s Kitchen is well-known in Moscow and Pullman for its outdoor patio while providing fresh Mexican food to the community.
All proceeds from ticket sales go to the Humane Society of the Palouse to help with operating costs and help the HSOP continue their mission to the community: to ensure the humane treatment, welfare and safety of companion animals in Moscow and Latah County. Operating costs include, but are not limited to, medical expenses, food, cleaning supplies and staff.
