Lori Freeman -
Director
Lori came to
Moscow in 1995 to attend the University of Idaho. She has either worked
or been involved at the humane society since 1997. After receiving her
bachelor's degree in 1999 she went to southern Idaho to teach at the
secondary level. She returned to the Moscow area to receive a Master's
degree and began to work at the shelter again in August of 2000.
She has been the director since August of 2001. She currently holds a
holds a bachelor's and a master's in agricultural education. She enjoys
rafting and traveling to Disneyland when she can find the time. Lori and
her husband Steve are owned by an assortment of cats and dogs.

Trina
Pickett -
Feline Health Technician
Trina came from Oregon with
experience from the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon and Safehaven Humane
Society in Albany, Oregon. She has been with us since the beginning of
January 2003. Trina frequently fosters animals from the shelter, and
raises many bottle baby kittens each year. She has recently begun training in Veterinary
Technology, but has no plans to leave the shelter. Trina's home is
overseen by numerous fish, cats, two dogs, a ferret, and a crested gecko. Click her name above

Tara Wimer - Canine
Health Technician
Tara has been a part of the HSOP
team since September '04. She's our resident artist and has done
some adorable wall paintings in our "Momma Room." Her
work can often be seen at our fund raisers, such as RenFair.
Tara shares her home with numerous
cats, dogs, and a ferret. |
Amy Freeman - Animal
Caretaker
Amy has recently returned to us after earning her
master's degree in Arizona. She works part time at the shelter
including weekends. When she's not here, she may be working as an
athletic trainer or at home with her husband, two dogs, and two cats.
