Lori Freeman -
Director
Lori came to
Moscow in 1995 to attend the University of Idaho. She has either worked
or been involved at the humane society since 1997. After receiving her
bachelor's degree in 1999 she went to southern Idaho to teach at the
secondary level. She returned to the Moscow area to receive a Master's
degree and began to work at the shelter again in August of 2000. She
has been the director since August of 2001. She currently holds a holds
a bachelor's and a master's in agricultural education. She enjoys
rafting and traveling to Disneyland when she can find the time. Lori and
her husband Steve are owned by numerous cats and dogs.

Trina
Pickett -
Feline Health Technician
Trina came from Oregon with
experience from the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon and Safehaven Humane
Society in Albany, Oregon. She has been with us since the beginning of
January 2003. Trina frequently fosters dogs from the shelter, and her
favorite thing is to take a shy or abused dog and watch it blossom in a
home environment. She has recently begun training in Veterinary
Technology, but has no plans to leave the shelter. Trina's home is
overseen by numerous cats, two ferrets, and a dog. Click her name above

Tara Wimer - Canine
Health Technician
Tara has been a part of the HSOP
team since September '04. She's our resident artist and has done
some adorable wall paintings in our "Momma Room." She is
currently involved in planning an auction fund-raiser for the shelter
featuring her artwork painted onto pottery. You can see her work
at the Everyday Artist on S. Main in Moscow.
Tara shares her home with numerous fish,
cats, dogs, a ferret, and a hamster. |
Amy Freeman - Animal
Caretaker
Amy has recently returned to us after earning her
master's degree in Arizona. She works part time at the shelter
including weekends. When she's not here, she may be working as an
athletic trainer or at home with her fiancée, two dogs, and three cats.
